Web Design & UX/UI Design
Create a clean and user-friendly district and school-based website design.
This was a 6 month-long project where we rearchitected the district and school-based websites to better reflect the needs of stakeholders in the district. The team consisted of myself (the lead UX/UI designer), a product manager, and 2 engineers. We set the implementation deadline for August of 2021 to ensure all school and district sites were updated for Back-to-School.
Once the design was complete and community stakeholders (parents, teachers, school and district administration) had signed off on the design, implementation strategy was put into place to ensure continued usability and ADA compliance.
I hosted a training for school-based website managers and designed all template guides for simple, front-end web maintenance. Most web managers were inexperienced and needed easy-to-follow and sustainable instructions.
